Council Members
The Village of Muenster Council consists of the Mayor and four Councillors, all of whom are elected by the residents of Muenster. Each member brings a unique perspective and set of skills to the table, working collaboratively to address the needs and aspirations of our community. Together, they are committed to making decisions that reflect the values and priorities of Muenster’s residents.

Mayor
Shauna Ilg
As a lifetime community member and current business owner, my goal is to keep Muenster innovative and valid. I believe the best way to make change is to be the change and that involvement is always the best way to make your community a better place. My husband and I have volunteered and sat on many boards and committees over the years and have had the pleasure of watching Muenster grow. I’d love to see Muenster continue to move forward in a positive way.
I have owned the Shampoo Shack in Muenster for over 14 years and have been married to my husband Devin for 21 years. We have 2 grown children, Rebecca and Hudson and a Great Dane named Blue.

Deputy Mayor
Karl Senko
I have been a resident of Muenster since 2010. I appreciate the philosophy of "What can I do for my community, not what can my community do for me?" I look forward to listening to resident's feedback. I know we have a good communication. I look forward to helping make this an even better place to live and thrive.

Councillor
Kim Fetter
I grew up in the small Town of Bruno, I lived there with my family until 2020 when we moved to Muenster. David and I blended our families to become a family of 7. I grew up with strong values of bettering your community with volunteering, with the Lions Club, The Bruno Rink, Christmas Cheer Campaign, and worked alongside the Bruno Student Council Committee to name a few. I work in health care in a few different positions; Nursing, Recreation, Saskatchewan Health Authority trainor for employees. A year ago, I became a member of the St.Mary's Villa Foundation. On my time off you will see me cheering my kids on in their sports, enjoying time at the lake, fishing, hunting, farming, and spending time with my extended family. I'm looking forward to this new position and excited to meet everyone in the community, and share ideas on how we can all help keep Muenster a growing family orientated community.

Councillor

On behalf of our council, the business community and our residents, I would like to extend our warmest welcome to the Village of Muenster.
Muenster has a small population of only 430 people, but it still has so much to offer. We boast a K-12 school, an established business community, the beautiful St. Peter’s Cathedral with its famous Imhoff paintings and a strong selection of volunteer and community opportunities. If it’s recreation you're after, we have an active sports club, the community curling rink, a hockey rink and state of the art baseball facilities. Our wonderful public library hosts a variety of activities for those with other interests and the Seniors Hall hosts such organizations as the ceramics club for those with an artsy side.
Seniors in our community can expect accessibility to affordable housing and activities suited to them as well, with such opportunities as weekday morning coffee and weekly cards at the Seniors Hall.
Whether you have chosen our community for work, family or just a fresh start, you have made an excellent choice. Muenster is a place where neighbors can become friends and everyday offers opportunities to get involved and make lasting memories.
If you have any questions or would like more information on anything Muenster has to offer, please visit our website or the village office would be happy to assist you.
We are delighted that you have chosen to call Muenster home and we look forward to getting to know you.
